  1. However much I find their counter campaign to be stupid, it HURTS. And it’s cheap! They knew they only had to put on a few buses, confuse the people and the media would do the rest! Juck!! 😦

  2. Hi,
I came here from twitter to read your blog, because I too have gone from cynic to enthusiast, if one without tickets. Then I noticed you threw a javelin in Barnet and Coptall came flooding back to my memory, I played lacrosse, lousy at anything else but went to QUEGS and wished I’d gone to East Barnet instead. Left school at 16 with very little in the way of exams and no thoughts of university. I went to Birkbeck in my 30’s too, even took some classes in the English dept. (America Fiction) alongside politics and history. In between my experience of education were stints on magazines in IPC towers, it was interesting to see another journey similar to mine. I write now, not sure if anything will ever be anything, because I’m a social worker and I love that but it doesn’t leave much time for much else.
    Helen
